Ocean Freedom was proud to provide mineral sunscreen for runners taking part in the OUTsurance Gun Run in Cape Town. The event brought thousands of athletes, families and supporters to the Atlantic Seaboard for a weekend of road running, trail running and community spirit.

A Cape Town race day essential
The OUTsurance Gun Run includes a 21.1 km half marathon, 10 km road race, 5 km fun run, trail run and pet walk. The routes take runners through exposed areas of Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, where sun protection matters before, during and after time outdoors.
Apply sunscreen generously to all exposed skin before leaving for the race. Pay particular attention to the face, ears, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and lower legs. Reapply every two hours or more often when sweating heavily. Ocean Freedom recommends applying sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying regularly during outdoor activity.
