A record number of athletes (800+) took part at the 2024 Blue Lagoon Triathlon.
Saturday Triathlon 10th Feb 2024
Saturdays triathlon saw a bike up the west coast which is flat & fast then a run inside the Club Mykonos resort which was a roller coaster ride with a challenging bump up to the windmill with views for days. Dashing down the blue carpet for a fabulous finish foto, through a haze of loud music, clapping crowds & the smell of hot seafood & cold beer. Soaking up the vibes and ending off with prize giving. The Kids splash & dash was a funfest for juniors under 10.
Sunday Swim 11th Feb 202 Sunday the swim crew headed down to the Strandloper for fireside koffie & rusks before the epic point to point lagoon swims under the watch of our lifeguards & resident gannets above. What a way to end a weskus weekend away.
